ReEvent is a "resell, repurpose, redesign" event that takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Black on Burlington event space, 1327 Burlington, Kansas City, Mo.
The $5 entry free includes shopping and inspirational ideas, as well as workshops. Created by Kelly Acock, owner of The Monarch Flower Co., ReEvent offers businesses the chance to sell and promote eco-friendly, special event-related decor items and services, and provides shoppers with event planning tips and eco-chic design inspiration, learning stations and green workshops.
A portion of the proceeds benefits Habitat for Humanity ReStore. For more information, go to thereevent.com.
