Pretty in Pastels: Local celeb moms stay trendy, even with kids
With lakes for lounging, patios for sipping and backyard barbecues for socializing, Kansas City women need fashion-forward items with a bit of practicality. Inspired by the pastels on Ralph Lauren's spring 2012 runway, these looks — modeled by three local celebrity moms — present pastel with a punch. Being fashionable is possible as a busy mom (color blocking isn't brain surgery) and pastels are possible, too, even with kiddos!

When you are a celebrity, being fashionable is a must even when you have kids. Everyone is watching you and there's no room for mistakes, unless you like being on the front page of a newspaper. For the rest of us moms, things are a little easier, although we do love to spoil our children and offer them the best clothes.
